I have always loved dogs from being very young. Some of my earliest memories are begging my mum to get a dog. As such as a child I would regularly visit my neighbours cairn terrier and run around her garden for hours with him. This progressed into helping with walks as I grew older, and recommendations led to me voluntarily walking and sitting a few local dogs over my teenage years, and undertaking my work experience placement in a local kennels who then offered me a paid job covering for sickness. It was here I learned confidence with a variety of dogs of all shapes and sizes and learned a significant amount about care routines. My next experiences came through working on the animal unit during my animal behaviour and welfare Bsc. Partaking in modules such as animal husbandry, animal nutrition and animal welfare taught me valuable skills and allowed me to work close hand with dogs learning to do heath checks, basic grooming and basic animal first aid. I have also gained alot of confidence working with puppies through working with the charity dogs for good as I meet with alot of puppy socialisers, it has taught me alot about the basic training of puppies which backs up my own knowledge from having my own 8 month old puppy for the past 3 months. I hope you will consider me to take care of your dog as they will recieve not only affordable quality pet care. You will also be leaving your dog in the hands of someone who will love them just as much as you do.
