Over 15 years of animal related work experience along with currently being a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC).
Since Graduating in 2011 – BSc (Hons) Animal Behaviour, I worked at a dog behaviour and training centre specialising in the behavioural consultations along with practical rehabilitation work. Since graduating from LJMU, I have completed the BIPDT course achieving 2nd Grade in August 2012. In 2015 I have also completed and passed the APBC Practical Assessment.
I further my knowledge and practical skills by attending seminars on a regular basis.
I don’t advocate the dominant theory, which means no harsh punishments or quick fixes are used. Positive reinforcement reward based methods are used when dealing with problematic canine behaviours.
