After working in the animal profession for 20 years, I returned to education and in 2015 graduated from the University of Kent with a first class honours degree in animal science and in 2016 graduated with a Masters degree in Reproductive medicine, Science & Ethics. On leaving University I decided to become self-employed and launched my business venture on 1 January 2018 – Spring Rise Animal Care. Spring Rise offers a variety of services, which are as follows:
Live-in pet sitting service – Looking after your animals in their own home or smallholding.
Dog walking – The maximum number of dogs on group walks is 6 and all dogs are introduced to each other prior to their walk.
Day Care for dogs – Full or half day options available.
Holiday Cottage – Spring Rise accommodation is capable of hosting 3 large or 4 small dogs.
Spring Rise Playground – 1 acre fully enclosed paddock where your dog can be let of the lead and allowed to run free and play.
Homemade dog treats & birthday cakes – made with natural ingredients.
Current training includes: NARPS UK, Lantra Accredited Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Business Course and Dog first Aid Course held at the College of Animal Welfare.
Spring Rise Professional Memberships include NARPS UK, The Universities Federation for Animal Welfare (UFAW), The Dogs Trust and the National Sheep Association (NSA).
