Hi, I am starting up a new dog walking business in Pontefract and the surrounding areas, West Yorkshire. We have a small family dog who has a lot of attitude and he has been a good teacher on many walks.

I have a dog walking qualification in the Dog walking level 3 certificate, with animal jobs direct, which was passed with distinction, and my dog walking business is fully insured.

I will be offering mainly walks on a 1 to 1 basis, giving a dog centred service, although I will cater for dogs from the same home that are used to each others company.

AI am also offering a dog sitting service where I can stay at the owners home for an agreed amount of time.

My current services and price lists are:

1hr dog walk – £10 per dog
3x1hr dog walking sessions for 1 dog booked together – £25
1hr dog walk, 2 dogs from same household – £15
3x1hr dog walking sessions for 2 dogs from same household – £40
More dogs from same household may be negotiable.

House sitting at the customers home – £15 per day

I also work fulltime as a support worker, which involves working different shift patterns each week, once contacted the potential customer will be sent out an information pack, and the best times to walk your dog can be discussed on a weekly basis.
