I run a dog walking and small animal care business with a life time experience owning my own dogs and cats as well as rabbits and guinea pigs and I have owned and also worked with horses in the past. Each one of them have had their own individual personality from being very shy and occasionally anxious, to being very confident with a life loving attitude. I have learned a great deal from my furry friends and continue to do so. Not all animals respond in the same way which is why I try to get to know each animal as an individual and what they respond to best so that they hopefully get the best out of their time with me and our adventures together and each other.

I have previously worked in the area of boarding kennels, riding stables, disability support and eventually qualified as a counsellor of the talking therapies and worked as a volunteer for Cruse Bereavement Care. After being made redundant I chose to work with animals again setting up my own Dog Walking & Small Animal Care Service offering dog walks, home visits for puppy & senior dog toilet breaks, cat sitting & smaller pet care either as a one off, short or longer term service for people working, during holidays, weekend breaks or with health issues etc.

I am fully insured and Dbs checked. I try to be flexible and always meet with the owner and furry friend to check out your needs and to see if I am the best match for you. I walk no more than 4 dogs at any one time depending on the individual and group dynamics to maintain their health and welbeing. The ability, health and age of the dogs in my care dictate where I walk in our beautiful local countryside. When able I take photo’s on our walks to show their owners where we have been and what their furry friends have been up to. My aim is to offer a high quality standard of care which includes a variety of walks for different abilities and good fun in the process, for some it may be a good run around and for others a more leisurely amble.
