My name is Emma, I’m married, have three boys and am looking to venture into pet sitting.
We live in Horsforth, West Yorkshire.

I’ve been a registered childminder for five years, but have decided to follow my heart and start caring for animals instead of little humans!

I love animals and have been brought up around them from a young age, having cats and rabbits as a child.
Now I’m all grown up, we have a few furry member’s added to our family- Hugo and Toby, our two dogs, and our four cats- Archy, Deedee, Percy and Dolly.
We have also had hamsters and fish/tropical fish in the past.
I have recently started volunteering for a cat charity and in the future, hope to get involved in their trap-neuter-re-home/release program.

I am looking to offering a pet sitting services, looking after your pets in your home, a good alternative to cateries/ pet hotels. This way your pets get to stay in their own environment, making it a less stressful experience for them when you are not around.
During these visits I will feed pet, ensure they have water, clean litters/hutches, and of course, play!
I can also offer to collect mail, water plants and open/close curtains/blinds for added security when you’re away.

In the future I plan to offer 1 to1 dog walking (not group walks- great if you have a dog who would prefer all the attention! ) and a pet taxi service, because as we know, if you don’t have access to a vehicle, it can sometimes be difficult to find a taxi company who are willing to take animals.

I am fully insured, DBS police checked and will have completed a Pet First Aid Course.
