We are a small family run business and have been in operation for the past 10 years.

We get a great deal of joy and satisfaction from the animals we look after and take pride in giving them the best possible care on a daily basis. I take my career very seriously and the happiness and sense of comfort I bring both pet and owner is something that I treasure.

I understand the importance of connecting with the animals on their level, in return they learn to trust, respect and love you, this is something I take great care over with every individual and allows me to give in return a better quality of care. Everyday I learn more about the animals, their personalities, habits, body language, likes and dislikes and this helps me give back to them what they enjoy most in their time with me.

At Walkies of Richmond we understand dogs need social interaction as well as physical stimulation, this is why with us your dog will never be left alone and will always be with a compatible group of other dogs. This allows your dog to make the most of their time with us and can enjoy socialising and exercising whilst still under full control and in a safe environment.

There is no set time for the daily walks so we are completely flexible to your needs and can work around your daily commitments. We can collect and return your dog just for the walk or we can arrange day care and return your pet at a time that is suitable for you. We guarantee when your dog comes home they will be happy and tired after a full hours walk and an excellent work out.

Its also important to us to vary the locations of the walks to accommodate to a individual dogs enjoyment, whether its chasing a ball or running through long grass and foraging in the woods. We believe it is important to keep their minds open to new environments and experiences instead of the same walks day in day out.

For the safety of the other dogs we do not accept very badly behaved or aggressive dogs and insist on a preliminary trial on a lead to see how they interact.
