I have been a professional dog walker for nearly 4 years and have had dogs all my life. They are my passion, as anyone who knows me will tell you! I started this business in part because of my love for being out with the dogs, giving them the excercise and fun they need. But also as a dog owner I wanted to provide the service I would want myself.
I wanted my clients to know that their dogs are safe! So I started light on-the-walk training. Just recall, sit and stay etc. I know my little gang will stick by me and their chums. If someone needs attention, the others will wait. They love it too because dogs are clever…if we let them be! I wanted them to be happy, playing and running, with lots of cuddles too! I wanted them to be free from the health concerns that can arise on a walk. So I took a pet first aid course but also I will check for ticks and grass seeds after a walk. I wanted my clients to know they had someone reliable who would be there, take care with access to their home and as far as possible consider the muddy paws coming in. I can usually accommodate add hoc, last minute walks for those days when unexpectedly you just can’t be there for your dog! We’ve all been there!! Well these are the things I would want!
I am fully insured. Have a DBS (new version of CRB) and am pet first aid trained. I use a large vehicle which is not a van so has windows they can see out of and has crates to keep them safe, fully air conditioned with climate control. Water always available and individual needs catered for!
If you have any questions do just give me a call.
I charge £12 per hours walk (that’s walking not travelling).
