Hello, I’m Vanessa, a dog lover and Founder of Muddy Buddies, based in Merrow, Guildford.

After working in a demanding job for a number of years, commuting all over the country and away from home for long hours each day, I turned to a dog walker to help me with my 6 year old Cocker Spaniel Maddie.

From my experience I know how invaluable the support of a reliable and caring dog walker can be, giving you the peace of mind that your best friend is getting the exercise and social stimulation they require each day to stay happy and healthy.

I’ve turned my love of dogs into a full time service, walking small and medium dogs in Guildford and the surrounding areas. I specialise in group and individual walks as well as puppy and small animal visits.

I am fully insured, CRB checked and trained in canine first aid, so you can feel assured your dog is in the right hands.

Whether you work long hours each day, are off out for the evening with friends or are just unable to keep up with the regular exercise your dog needs, whatever your requirements, Maddie and I would love to welcome your best friend along for a fun and exciting adventure with Muddy Buddies!

I walk four times a day to fit around as many diaries as possible, but can also accommodate outside of this so please just ask. Walks are in country parks and fields locally, and these change each day to ensure variety for regular customers. Please be assured that all walks take place in safe locations away from roads and livestock.

Additional dogs from the same family are charged half price at £6.00 per dog per hr. If an individual walk is required the cost for an hour is £18.00 per dog.

I am available for puppy and older dog visits, for a comfort break or short walk if required. The cost for 30 mins for each service is £12.00 and includes lots of cuddles! I look to take puppies out with groups just after they are 6 months old. Unfortunately I am unable to take bitches in season out in group walks but can take them out individually.

On my walks I take fresh water, a dog first aid kit and some treats for post walk if parents allow. I transport all dogs safely in my estate car, which has a non slip sheet and soft blanket, with space for dogs to curl up and go to sleep on the way home after an energetic walk.

Please be assured that all muddy paws will be cleaned prior to dropping them back at home. I will also replenish water bowls and ensure they are comfortable and ready for the next exciting part of their day, which is your return home!
