Hi! we are Lyn and Michael Alton and run Ipswich Wagtail Walks and training.
We have many years experience caring for animals, we previously ran a rescue centre in Spain and rehabilitated and rehomed many dogs and cats. Lyn was a veterinary assistant and dealt with all aspects of animal health. We both hold diplomas in dog walking and P.D.S.A first aid and the business is fully insured. We only walk small numbers of dogs to a maximum of three as we like to keep our service personal and ensure the dogs are having relaxed fun. The majority of our walks are dogs from the same household or solo walks.

Training: ‘Turning Struggles into Strengths’
Lyn is a dog trainer and is affiliated and trained by ‘Absolute Dogs’.
This is an exciting and fun way of training that is gathering momentum across the world. We train a concept not a behaviour. By this we mean we work through games to shape the dogs brain and his/her view of the world into one that is healthy and happy. Concepts such as confidence, optimism, calmness, self control and enjoying proximity to you etc. So if you have struggles such as your dog/s barking, separation anxiety, poor recall, pulling on lead, lunging, jumping up even aggression dog to dog or people or just want better doggy manners for your dog or puppy Lyn can help through her games based concept training from the age of eight weeks. One to one training and group training as applicable.
We have direct access to some of the most notable teams of trainers, and a respected veterinary behaviorist for professional support and advice at no further charge to yourself.

Initial consultation is always free.
