Hi my name is Rebecca Curry, the owner of The K9 Crew, and I live in the Wheatley Hills area of Doncaster with my husband Paul and our amazing little Jack Russell Terrier ‘Juddy’.

My family have always owned dogs and their antics have always been a constant source of comedy and companionship in our lives, our current dog Juddy is no exception as he is without doubt the ‘quirkiest’ of them all. My love of walking and my passion for dogs was cemented very firmly in my formative years and in fact my earliest memories are of playing with Grandparents dogs and of walking for miles in all weather around the Wentworth and Hoober areas of Rotherham near where I grew up.
Experience has taught me that plenty of excercise and mental stimulation is essential for our canine family members and as the owner of a ‘hyper’ terrier, I can confirm that a shattered dog is a lot easier to live with than one swinging from the light fittings!
My employment career prior to this wonderful venture has been a varied and exciting one, but my greatest sense of achievement has been without doubt the 8 years I spent working in Wath Upon Dearne as a Veterinary Nurse, rising to head nurse in the last 3 years I was there. I formed friendships and bonds with the owners I met there, that have lasted after my career took a change in direction.
In addition I have worked with children with multiple behavioural disorders and was a mentor responsible for introducing my dog into the specialist behavioural unit at the school I worked at. This was an incredible success and went some way to help troubled children understand levels of responsibility, care, trust and love.
I have qualifications in counselling and pride myself on the empathy that I have for all animals. I am physically fit, energetic and have tons of patience. I am fully insured and have undergone an advanced criminal records bureau check, and in addition to my experience as a Veterinary Nurse I am a qualified pet First Aider.
So thanks for stopping by. I look forward to meeting you and the animals out there that I can be of service to. If you would like to know more, or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
