My name is Laura and I run Regent Pet Care. I have spent my life surrounded by pets of all kinds, from dogs and horses to gerbils and rats.
My love of animals has continued throughout my life and in 2009 I obtained a BSc in Zoology and in 2016 completed my Masters degree in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law. I have also worked for organisations around the world caring for and studying wild animals. Animals are my passion and I am dedicated to improving the welfare of our most beloved pets. Which is why I decided to start Regent Pet Care.
I run two group walks a day, Monday to Friday. The group walks are limited to a maximum of four dogs. This allows me to give all of the dogs specific attention and work on any training that is needed while still allowing them to interact and play with their friends. These small groups can also be good for nervous dogs that may be overwhelmed by a larger group.
The walks last one hour, not including pick up and drop off. All dogs will travel in my van and have their own crate. Time and care is taken with every dog to ensure they are happy and comfortable travelling in such a way, as we understand that this is something they may never have experienced before.
I also offer a very popular dog sitting service, during which I will stay in your home for the required time, making sure your pets are happy and well cared for by sticking to their regular routine.
It is important that your pet is familiar with me before I stay. Therefore, I require that dogs have been on a few walks prior to my visit or at least have spent some time alone with me.
Both my dog walks and dog sitting services have limited availability and book up well in advance so I advise getting in touch as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
