A little bit about myself My name is Melissa and I LOVE ANIMALS. I have owned 4 beautiful dogs in the UK and in recent years I have rescued and homed dogs in the Philippines. Of my 12 Dogs that I have in the Philippines, the majority of them have either been abandoned puppies at a few days old, rescued from the streets and rescued from potentially being sold to meat traders. As well as dogs, I have rescued, rehabilitated and housed kittens, goats, pigs, crocodiles, snakes, lizards, ducks, rabbits, chickens and turtles. Due to my commitments to the animals in the Philippines I have learnt a great deal on animal welfare, animal first aid, administering medications, dealing with quarantined dogs, dealing with dogs of different natures, animal nutrition and many other animal related issues. My love for animals even brought me to call my little boy Noah! Being unhappy with my previous job and working too many hours doing something I didnt love made me rethink my career and here I am! I am also an active member of The Sound of Animals Foundation which helps rehabilitate and home street dogs and survivors/rescues from the Cambodian Meat Trade I want to share my love of animals helping others with their own busy schedules. My dedication to animals in my care is absolutely 100%.
