Short Bark ‘n’ Strides is run by Linda based in Whitehill, Hampshire. It is fully licensed and insured for dog walking, grooming and home boarding.our dog will be treated and cared for as though it is one of my own pets. The safety and well being of your dog is extremely important to me.

Dog grooming – I create a relaxed and enjoyable grooming session by offering a one on one service and all dogs are dried by hand. Grooming to breed standard or styling to suit your dog’s individual lifestyle. Each groom includes bath, groom and clip/scissor. We also trim nails and clean ears if needed. Your dog will then be sent away with a spray of doggy perfume (although we can leave this if you prefer).
My home salon is a calm and welcoming haven for your pet where they will be groomed and pampered and made to feel and look a million dollars. The salon has been fitted out with the latest equipment. The price for every groom is dependent on the condition of coat and we will also take into account any challenging behaviour.

Walking –
My dog walking service operates on a daily, weekly or regular basis to suit your individual needs. Prior to the first walk I will meet you to discuss your requirements and of course this will give me a good opportunity to meet your dog, so we get to know each other. I will collect your dog from your home. He or she will be able to enjoy a run in the woods will get lots of attention. The walk will be a minimum of 1 hour so your dog will be away from home longer. On return to your home I will make sure those muddy paws have a good clean off.

Home boarding –
Home Boarding allows your dog to stay in my home while you’re away. It provides a better alternative to kennels, in comfortable, non distressing surroundings.
Your dog will be with my friendly little dog, Dave. Your dog will enjoy a normal home life routine. Your dog will be fed and exercised to your specific requirements and will be walked twice a day for an hour unless otherwise requested. As all dogs stay in our own home with us there are a few conditions that we must comply with, including being upto date with all vaccinations (including kennel cough) and regular parasitic treatment. We also ask that you provide your dog’s regular food. Your dog will be dropped in the morning of the last day between 8-10am otherwise another days daycare will be added.

We also provide local pet taxis. OAP/puppy visits 30 minutes. Cat feeding & litter tray refresh, fish, rabbit and guinea pigs visits. Doggy day care 8 hours weekday & weekends.
