Hey everyone! I’m Nathan, the proud owner and founder of Rupert’s Mates. I wanted to take a moment to share a bit about myself and why this venture means so much to me.

Rupert is my first family dog dog as an adult, and the bond we’ve built has been truly comforting at a time I needed it most. He quickly became more than just a pet, he’s my furry little mate and a constant source of comfort. It’s this incredible connection that inspired Rupert’s Mates, a business created in his honour, where I can share the same love and care with your furry friends.

The past year has been a challenging one. After losing both of my parents 6 months apart, I found myself going in and out of jobs, struggling to find my way. But being outdoors with Rupert gave me a sense of peace and purpose during that difficult time. His company and our walks together helped pull me out of a dark place, and it made me realise that working with dogs is where my heart truly lies.

I have admired the hard work of ‘Woof Walking’ from a distance and had the pleasure of speaking with them a few times when I was out with Rupert. It made me think, “Why not?” So, with Rupert by my side, I’m launching Rupert’s Mates to provide the same care and attention to your dogs that I give to him every day.

We’re not here to compete with other local Dog Walking businesses, but to join forces with them. Together, we can create a supportive community where all dogs receive the best care and attention they deserve.
