Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am a lifelong lover of animals. Apart from a short spell in Wiltshire, I have lived in the Purbecks since 2012. I now live in lovely Wool and enjoy a family home with my son and our cat.

My family has always enjoyed the company of pets. Growing up we had dogs, cats, hamsters and rabbits – and who could forget ‘Jake the snake’. Having pets helps little ones to learn patience, kindness and responsibility. I was certainly taught those skills as a child and have always had a positive relationship with animals.

Purbeck Pet Sitting and Dog Walking was set up after my maternity leave, so as to pursue a lifelong desire to work with animals. I’m not quite brainy enough to be a vet but I do wish I had taken up a career in Veterinary Nursing…however it is too late for that now!

It’s very rewarding to walk dogs, visit and play with kitties and other furry creatures. It’s a healthy way of life and one which has many rewards. I am fully insured and have an appropriate pet first aid certificate. I have a calm and confident approach when dealing with animals and like to keep my ‘pet parents’ updated as to the progress of their fur babies.
