I started Hounds About in January of 2017.

I am training my own dog, Maya to become a Search and Rescue dog for Mountain Rescue. I gave up my career as a researcher at the University of Manchester for this.

I walk mostly around Lyme Park and Kinder. I take no more than 3 client dogs out at a time, for hour long walks, longer walks are available.

I charge £10 an hour per dog, with a discount for more than 1 dog from the same household.

I charge £15 per hour for solo walks, with dogs that don’t cope so well in company.
