With a love for those creatures with four legs and a bark, and a passion for the muddy outdoors, it was just a matter of time before I established Posh Pooches Walk, a dog walking and dog sitting service covering Kendal and the South Lakes area.

The pride I take in my dog walking and dog sitting service is unsurpassed, for I provide the same level of dedication and compassion shown to my own faithful and beloved pooch. Thus my service is bespoke, unique and individual.

No two pooches are ever the same, not even those living in the same family. And that’s why Posh Pooches Walk prides itself on delivering a bespoke service when it comes to walking your pooch or caring for your four legged friend when you can’t be there. We strive to tailor our service to fit your needs and requirements…why? Because we know your pooch is special and is entitled to superior care.

Contrary to popular opinion, posh pooches do sometimes walk rather than just spread out akimbo in front of a roaring log fire. In fact, the posh pooches we walk like to get dirty too and enjoy a thorough rub down. But then again, we do put our heart and soul into our doggie walks to ensure they have a walk of their lives. We strive to provide walks which stimulate and enrich our pooches…leaving them excited for the next outing.

The thing about Posh Pooches Walk is that we pride ourselves on a bespoke service, which is tailored to your special pooch. In essence, that means we never walk more than 2 dogs at any one time…and that is only if the canines like each other and are best buddies! We are about great quality and not about maximising profits through quantity…such as when a dog walker bundles 4 to 6 dogs together! For that reason, we do not use a van to transport our pooches. We use our car with a secure, and obviously cosy, crate to get from A to B. This method also provides for a more intimate journey between walker and dog.

With Posh Pooches Walk, you get to choose whether we walk your companion solo…and in fact this is our favoured approach to dog walking because we can provide one to one attention.
