I’ve owned two red border collies and have owned two german sheperds. We’ve had one of our collies since 2009, the other was born in 2015. I have also raised and socialised four border collie puppies until they were ready to go to new homes at 12 weeks old. I’ve also owned five cats who are now elderly (two rescues). I have volunteered for two years in a wildlife hospital where animal husbandry was my main role. I have lots of experience in equestrian care too and have been involved since I was eleven up until university. I owned and cared for my own horse for seven years. I also briefly volunteered at a zoo in Cambridgeshire where I helped care for the animals. My degree is Conservation Ecology and Biology. I love my dogs dearly and have missed them so much since being at university. I walk a golden retriever on campus every Friday and he helps make me feel less homesick. I’m raising money so that I can volunteer over the summer for SPOT (Society for the Protection Of Turtles) in North Cyprus for two months. I have a certificate diploma in Animal Management, level 3.
