I am a reliable, qualified and fully insured pet sitter and dog walker with a 5 star rating on facebook and 6 years of professional experience working with dogs and cats. I have a first in my Bcs Animal and Behaviour degree and will continue my study of canine behaviour with short courses in the future.
In terms of character, I am personable, trustworthy and friendly.
I set up my pet sitting business JS Pet Care whilst completing my final year of my degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. During this period I was working as a Team Leader at the UKs 2nd best voted kennels and Cattery 2022. As demand increased, I was able to quit my job and peruse my pet care business full time.
Having worked in kennels and catteries for over 5 years, it was clear to me that majority of pets, (especially dogs with separation anxiety or dogs with fearful behavioural tendencies), are not happy in a kennel environment. Seeing dogs confined to their kennels (the size of a small room) for most of the day with very limited interaction with humans upset me and inspired me to set up my business that would offer a much more preferable environment and comprehensive, 1-1 care.
If you are thinking of switching from kennels to a pet sitter/ dog sitter, or have a dog who would appreciate 1-1 care, I would love to be the one to help.
I am experienced and confident with dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. Although I am not a qualified behaviourist (or specifically offer behavioural services), I am experienced and have the knowledge to carry out or continue any behavioural training you might be doing while you are away.

Dog walking:
My services include solo walks all week round, and group walks at lunch time Monday-Friday. All walks include 1 hour of fun. My group walks contain 3-4 dogs and are all matched by temperament and size. All individuals wanting to join the group walks will be assessed behaviourally to ensure they are a suitable match for one of my groups. All dogs are introduced safely and professionally.
My group walks will be off-lead for nearly all of the walk and will be walked in extensively planned and researched routes in Bucks, Berks and High Wycombe.
I offer an optional detachable tracker for extra reassurance for an additional £1.00 per walk for my solos and groups.
Solo walks are £17.00 + petrol
Group walks start at £12.50 (for 5 walks per week) and go up to £15.00 (1 walk per week)

Pet sitting:
I am an in house pet sitter, meaning I stay at my clients houses with their pets while they are away (I also offer cat drop ins, in which I do not stay round). This means that your pets don’t have to go through the stress of moving to a new environment. It also means I am able to provide security for your home while you are away. I am extremely clean and will keep your house as it were when you left it (or cleaner!). I take out bins, collect in parcels and care for any indoor/outdoor plants.
My insurance policy covers up to £100,000 of excess cost to any damage to your property whilst under my care. It also contributes to any vet bills if your dog has any injuries whilst under my care (neither of which has ever happened!).
I am more expensive than kennels (£45 per night for 1 dog, discounts applied for long stays and low activity dogs), but I truly believe the high standard of 1-1 care I offer, and my knowledge and experience working with and understanding dogs of all sizes and temperaments outweighs this difference in costs.

I send daily videos/pictures to all my dog walking and pet sitting clients and am contactable the whole period of my stay.
