I’ve always had a deep love for animals — especially dogs — along with a passion for walking and spending time outdoors. For years, I couldn’t quite see how to turn that passion into a career. Instead, I found myself in office admin roles from a young age, and that became my routine for many years.

But in my 40s, I finally decided to follow my heart. I realised it was never too late to bring together my love for dogs, the outdoors, and walking — and that’s how CalderTail Waggers came to life. Now, I feel so fortunate to spend my days doing what I love most: caring for dogs and exploring the beautiful areas of Calderdale, Halifax with them by my side.
